Friendship Force New Mexico is one of more than 350 chapters in some 60 countries committed to promoting understanding through individual friendships worldwide. Our international and domestic exchange programs bring diverse people together, usually for a week at a time, putting them into one another’s cultures, lifestyles and homes to share one-of-a-kind experiences not available to standard tourists.
The primary activities of Friendship Force chapters are exchanges, in which some 10 to 25 visitors, called ambassadors, stay in the homes of local FF hosts. FFNM is involved in both inbound and outbound exchanges every year. In addition to hosting ambassadors or traveling as an ambassador yourself, there are several ways to be involved in FF activities, such as day hosting. Or attend our monthly luncheon meetings, which feature guest speakers on topics of local or international interest.
Friendship Force New Mexico’s current co-presidents are John and Anne Heard. See a complete list of officers here.
