International Day of Peace – September 21
Share your favorite FF memories with #RandomActsOfFriendship
The International Day of Peace is quickly approaching, and on September 21, Friendship Force is celebrating with a “Random Acts of Friendship” social media photo challenge!

Participation is simple – all you have to do is post a photo celebrating friendship with the hashtag #RandomActsOfFriendship to your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account. Then, tag your friends in your post and challenge them to do the same!

Friendship Force International will feature select, hash-tagged posts across our social media channels.

Our Random Acts of Friendship challenge is a visual display of how every friendship, near and far, leads to a greater understanding and the discovery of common ground. We hope you’ll participate.

If you are not already, follow Friendship Force on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram – and invite your friends and family to do the same. It is a great way to share photos and stay connected with your friends around the world!
Share your #RandomActsOfFriendship on social media today!

Urgent Friendship Force meeting

It is hoped September 28 was marked on your calendar for our upcoming meeting.
Elections for 2020 for the board are being conducted.  Bill Bertenshaw has been nominated for president and he has accepted!
Joan, our president, and her husband, Al, have important information to share with the membership regarding their trip to Boulder, Colorado, to attend the  FF International Conference.
They are excited about the many ideas introduced at the Conference; however, there is one KEY factor that plays an important role to the success of implementing the ideas — YOU!  If you are interested in making our club stronger, your attendance and participation will be very much appreciated!
The board is asking for your input after Joan & Al’s presentation and we hope you will join us!!
The board has approved paying $5 towards lunch for each member that attends the luncheon – IT IS THAT IMPORTANT!!!

Friendship Force Translation Teams

Are you fluent in English and another language? We need your help!
Friendship Force is looking for volunteers to join our new Language Translation Committees and help us improve communication with Friendship Force members and clubs around the world.

Ideally, each committee will consist of 6-10 volunteer translators who would be available to provide translations to FFI upon request. Our strongest need is for translators for the following languages: French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. However, we are also interested in hearing from individuals with translation-level language skills in any other languages.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, please click the link below to answer some basic questions. You will be contacted by an FFI staff member with further instructions.

I’m interested in joining a Translation Team!

Choosing international outbound journeys for 2021

Members of N. M. FF,
Atlanta has asked that we indicate where we would like to travel internationally in 2021.
Please choose two clubs you would like to visit and send your selections to Lenore Pardee, Lenorerp@aol.com, before Sept. 30.
Before you choose,  go to the Friendship Force International website, Our Clubs to find where FF clubs are located.  A number of countries have no FF clubs or have only one with a handful of members.  Our chances of being assigned a journey to any country depends on the number of clubs and the size of the clubs.
